Sobas approach is unique in that instead of capturing the entirety of the landscape he instead uses a telephoto zoom lens allowing him to take tightly cropped shots that appear both immense in scale but extremely specific in scope.

House On The Hill in Tuscany, Italy - Places to explore

Pintura de hoja caduca para el tejado La zona donde se encuentra esta casa, en Dinamarca, es tan ventosa y cercana al mar que los árboles no pueden crecer.  Los habitantes de esta casa ayudaron a este árbol a hacerlo situándolo a resguardo de los vientos.  Al brotar en primavera se adapta a la perfección al perfil de la casa y deja este contraste de imágenes con el invierno tan sorprendente. El fotógrafo Marianne Kjølner ha retratado el cambio a la perfección.

On the way to Mendicino I saw some awesome trees. (But, this is the first ever seamless photograph of an entire redwood tree. Photographer Nick Nichols and National Geographic built a robotized rig with three cameras to capture this enormous 1,600 year old redwood tree in California. The final composite is stitched together from 84 photos. Here’s a video of how they did it. (via theo)
