Food photography Tip: Beauty shots are nice, but process Shots are so engaging, it allows viewer to feel as if they're in the kitchen with you. I have low light in my kitchen at certain times. To shoot these process shots, I have a table by a window & I will prep there, rather than kitchen. I always have this "step-by-step" shooting station. Set this up ahead of time, so your cooking workflow is smooth. This post for Vietnamese carrot/daikon pickles feels more authentic with a photo like this.
