DIY river rock mat: River Rock, liquid nails and a cheap door mat. I did this- love this project. I've made two so far. I finished it off with a sealer to give the rocks some shine, can't remember if that was in the directions or not.

The most incredible use of old doilies that I've yet seen is by the lovely and talented Margie Oomen of knitalatte on Etsy. She also has a wonderful blog called Resurrection Fern and is one of my fave people anywhere.

I used to do this all the time! I need to get back into it...they're cute on shelves and for paper weights on the counters.

Alphabet Pebbles: What a marvelous little rainy day project! What a great shower gift for baby tied up in a little baskets or made into magnets. Great as teacher gifts, Trim out a cute mirror or bulletine board for a child's room....endless ideas! Puzzle glue will shine them up and protect from chipping.
