This statement is so true. And the article attached to it is true too -- if the health issues associated with obesity aren't enough to scare you into a healthy lifestyle, then I don't know what is. Don't make wanting to 'look better' be the main motivation for trimming down -- make 'being healthy' the primary motivation. The 'look better' part will come naturally as a result. ;-)

This diagram is funny... not sure I agree with the bacon comment; as bacon is sometimes a good food in moderation.

I don't really believe in this... Everyones body is different. I'm only slightly taller than my mom but dance a ton and work out so i have more muscle, therefore weigh more than her. I guess it's a good basis...
