The Palouse Falls, with a height of 198-feet, located in southeast Washington. Glacial floods from Lake Missoula formed series of waterfalls along Palouse River before it entered the Snake River. The Palouse River is a tributary of the Snake River; falls can exist in the middle of desert. Falls included in Washington State's Palouse Falls State Park.
