The interest in my Twitter UNICEF thing has taken me totally by surprise. I never did it to start a "campaign" or a "movement"; it was just me trying to live what I believed. The loveliest part has been strangers getting in touch and saying they've donated to UNICEF too out of solidarity with the idea and to "sponsor" my payment for some hate-tweets! That just astounds me. Today I went out for brunch and the cafe said that instead of paying them for the meal to give it to UNICEF.
