Melted crayon art. My daughter loves princesses, but I didn't want her room too "Disney-ish" so I googled "princess silhouettes" and printed the pictures from my printer. I took the printed image and cut it out of contact paper. Next, on the canvases, I stuck down the image, hot glued the crayons to the top and melted the crayons all the way to the bottom, peeled off the contact paper and was left with the silhouette. I had to touch up some edges with white paint, but they turned out well.
Another pinner says: I saw something like this at Michaels ! All you do is line crayons or colored wax at the top of a canvas. Then you burn the wax so it melts down the canvas leaving trails of color !
