Sparrows - These are birds we took for granted and did not appreciate them or help them live here. They used to be here in flocks and lived in whatever they could find. They are not around here in Texas and many places in the world now. Where did the Sparrows go? (I saw some in Washington D.C. in March 2012 and was so excited, but they are rare now?!?!)

Southern Carmine Bee-eater(Merops nubicoides).They are attracted to wildfires because of the flushed insects, and are often seen circling high in the air. They also eat rodents and lizards.

pink snow pelican what a beautiful bird. I draw pelican at the beach but I've never seen this before I didn't realize God made then in pink. I wonder if he thought of any other wild color to do them in.

Fairy Wren. Usually birds scare the crap out of me but this bird is so tiny. The coloring is beautiful.
