    Terracotta warriors, China The terracotta figures, dating from 210 BC, were discovered in 1974 by some local farmers near Xi’an, Shaanxi province, China near the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor. The terracotta army excavated from the tomb of the emperor Qin Shi Huang, 209 BC. 8,000 soldiers, 130 chariots with 520 horses and 150 cavalry horses ~ all different from each other.

    Saw them in 93' Terra Cotta Warriors The terracotta figures, dating from 210 BC, were discovered in 1974 by some local farmers near Xi’an, Shaanxi province, China near the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor. Experienced this place with family in 2007 traveling by train from Mongolia down thru China! Amazing! Thankful for Trenton speaking Mongolian and Chinese interpreters!
