I am not Catholic and I don't always agree with the religion, but this is about Jesus and the relationship you have with Him. And why I like this pope more than others in the past.

This is beautiful and empowering. The epitome of God working through us.

I am addicted to rosaries and Catholic knick-knackery. Especially statues of the Infant of Prague; used to have a huge collection.

I too, am very fond of Catholic statues. Even have a marble Jesus in my home that I inherited. Have you posted images of the Prague Jesus?

ROSARIES ARE BEAUTIFUL,, MEANINGFUL, SPIRITUAL, HELPFUL IN PRAYER LIFE; BUT, ROSARIES ARE NOT NECKLACES.

I asked my girls this morning if they were proud to be catholics.. they didn't think for a moment and screamed YES!!!!!!

Not all Catholics are Christian! Ohhh i know this to be true first hand many times over!

  • Jennifer McCoy

Tinki...the difference is one is a religion and one is a personal relationship requiring total surrender of oneself. Respectively.

Thank you, i'm not a Catholic but i am Christian. I was just interested, because we read a book about a Catholic girl who married a protestant man

I also heard about the "war" between the two

How Catholic Are You Actually? ...sadly, I haven't attended Mass regularly in years, but I'm still a surprisingly good Catholic.

  • Therese Francis

Why have you not? If you don't mind me asking of course! :)

  • Elizabeth Cummings

Funny, I came out as a committed catholic even though I'm an atheist who hasn't been to Mass since 1972.

  • Nica Noah

I believe, but I believe that being a good person is probably more important to God than all the other hoopla.

  • Therese Francis

Returning to Mass and the sacraments would boost you relationship with God greatly :). And with full knowledge, omitting Sunday Mass (Since it's a Holy day of Obligation) could be a mortal sin. Not judging, just stressing the importance of Mass.

72/100, but I couldn't click some of them because I'm not old enough for some of them (like marriage or teaching Sunday school)
