Make your own obstacle course ( you CAN bring the same items into the house too. Yoga mats prevent sliding on wood and tile floors while adding a nice texture to feet. Ive also used anti-slip rug stuff and rubber grip cabinet liner under stuff. The indoor obstacle works great, brings in natural elements and helps with sensory issues while using what you find. ~Honey w/Mondorfment

How to Make an Indoor Obstacle Course (Without Destroying Your Home)

Obstacle courses can be a fun, motivating way to get in activities that are great for your child. Some ideas: do jumping jacks, hop on one foot, crawl under table, walk on balance beam, crumple up paper and throw it in recycling, draw a shape/write a letter/word on a paper taped to the wall, put pennies in a piggy bank

Just a reminder for when I have kids to make new fun out of toys we have instead of buying new ones. Imagination station.

Yarn Obstacle Course I would like to do this with my daughter, however, my anxiety level goes through the roof with the idea of attaching all of the yarn to objects in my house! :) Thanks for sharing cool, laid back Mommies!
