I love this color, and the idea is awesome. Saving some space by putting the china cabinet on the wall :)

Change It Up...Neutrals are a safe bet in the kitchen, but a touch of color adds personality. A wall hutch painted an energetic mint green displays vintage pottery and dishes. A quick paint job on the hutch can change the color palette of the kitchen. Matching is not a problem, because neutral cabinets and flooring can pair with almost any color.

I like the idea of hanging decorative shelves in a bold color

Kelly green cabinets with brackets to look like a hutch. Love this color.

Better Homes and Gardens Hutch- If your going to have fine china you might as well use it as a decoration when its not displayed on your table. A great table setting used to be passed down through family's with great pride and only used for celebrations and holidays. Memories were associated with these plates! I love the color , I am a big fan of green, and the scalloped edges of the cabinet. It brings a vintage charm to the dining room but the other furniture keeps it modern.

Mudroom - Eye-Catcher: Opposite the back door, the hutchlike cabinetry grouping creates the second zone. The "hutch" serves double duty as the room's focal point and as a drop spot for mail. There are display areas for the homeowners' dish collection. Bags and daily mail can rest on the open spot, and drawers hold everything from party supplies to lightbulbs.

love the painted back to the cabinet and the variety of Transferware and majolica- the symmetry keeps it from being too busy and the variety holds your interest. If it were all the same pattern you wouldn't keep looking
