Neat idea! Love this. "Money Jars". 3 jars per child, One marked "spending", another marked "saving" and last but not least "Tithing". I think this would be a great way to teach kids about money management at a young age. So doing this with my kids....

THIS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR! You do not get paid for chores because it's an expected part of being a family. Allowance is teaching children how to manage money. I have started this with the kids, the chore list doesn't get money but the commission chart does! There are different chores on each. AND she incorporates tithing and savings! Brilliant!

31 quarters in the jar at the beginning of the month, every day that they do not do their chores, they lose a quarter. Whatever is left at the end of the month they exchange for cash and the quarter jar is refilled. Not to do "allowance" for chores, but rather teach chores/responsibilities as how they contribute to family.

Perfect for the monthly or seasonal items that my kids can do in addition to their weekly chore chart that is always the same.

Starting in Kindergarten, put the child's graduation year on a large tshirt. Take a picture each year with same shirt to watch the child grow into the shirt. Display at graduation party!
