What a great way to use wasted space. I love built-in bookshelves anyway, and to use under the stairs for a reading nook, plus the drawers under the bed, brilliant idea.

If I cant have a library in our house, I'll settle for this cute reading nook! I'd call it my Book Nook.

If I cant have a library in our house, I'll settle for this cute reading nook as it uses space wisely and can also be a guest bed!

If we can't build our dream house until the kids are too old for the under the stairs play house than I would love this for that space. Even if the bed area were converted to an office nook.

Love the cozy bed in the window nook. Curl up with a book and a glass of wine.....

Cozy window nook-great for reading! I've seen the pins with closet reading nooks, which are great, but I just love reading in natural light. Maybe it's because it helps me stay awake :) but also it just puts me in a good mood.

OMG I totally love this! When I get a craft room/ library for all of my books im so going to put this in the wall and then always keep it close. It is my hide away room for when I want to take a nap or want peace and quiet.

With all the storage space under the bed you could make that space into a club house for your kids, add a small set of shelving around the window for craft supplies and toys and voila

Make John build me those white shelves (maybe just one or two) for above the future media cabinet in the living room).

I love how it's built into the stairs! quite different. would the stove get the wood too hot???
