    White Rose, by Tapit, finally found her graded victory, and did so in course record time Sept. 5 at Saratoga Race Course, taking the 1 3/8-mile Glens Falls turf test in 2:11.46.

    Rachel's Valentina continued to impress Sept. 5 at Saratoga Race Course, remaining perfect in two starts with her win in the $350,000 Spinaway Stakes (gr. I) for Stonestreet Stables.

    Embellish the Lace turned it around from a ninth-place finish in the June 27 Mother Goose Stakes (gr. I) and took the $600,000 Alabama Stakes (gr. I) Aug. 22 at Saratoga on the front end.

    Beholder toyed with the field of nine other males and pulled away to win the Pacific Classic by 8 1/4 lengths in her first start against the boys and her first start at 1 1/4 miles. She is the first female to win the race.
