AQHA stallion Olenas King Texas has been genetically tested and according to tests he's palomino roan. He looks like a dark palomino and no roan at all. The roaning is very minimal, shown in this photo: just some white hairs on the saddle area.
Question Mark was born in 1937 in Cimarron, New Mexico. The Palomino stallion was sired by Plaudit and out of a thoroughbred mare mare named Pepito. He was a smart, beautifully built horse with a unique crooked stripe. He did very well as a racehorse, but was forced to retire from his racing career because of a broken pastern. He sired 246 registered foals.
An Isabelo horse. Isabeloes are the lightest shade of Palominos. They were first heard of in history during the time of Queen Isabella (where the name come froms) of Spain. The famed Mustang, Cloud, is an Isabello.
