Mud room Because orange can be too intense on its own, Berman added blue accents in the mudroom. "It's such a welcoming color. Orange feels like a younger, fresher version of red," she says. "But it can be a hot color, and I needed a little bit of cool as balance, to cut through the heat." Wall color is Benjamin Moore’s Fresno. Anchor pillow by Jonathan Adler.

Would love to close off the one room and make this as the entry way. I would go with a blue green for the wall color though.

I'm not fond of this color, but I like the idea of painting my mud room with a stand out color. Strong color — Benjamin Moore's Fresno —"keeps the mudroom from looking like your everyday mudroom," designer Mona Ross Berman says of this space in a New Jersey beach house. Pin it » -

I could probably work in the crates to our mud room storage furniture

We have a small entry way, so I like this idea & I would put shoes in the baskets. So sick of flip/flops & kid shoes just laying around. Hmm...maybe in a few years when I have money set aside for our kitchen. (cuz our entryway is in the kitchen)
