The Lucky One

Not my favorite Nicholas Sparks book, but definitely worth reading

On my list of things to read. I really enjoyed the movie remake of the first book. Maybe I should read that, too!

Im already on ch. 15 Love, after all, always said more about those who felt it than it did about ones they loved -#Nicholas Sparks #The Best of Me Chapter 11

Another good Nicholas Sparks book

In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women--mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends--view one another. A deeply moving novel filled with poignancy, humor, and hope, The Help is a timeless and universal story about the lines we abide by, and the ones we don't.

The Help by Kathryn Stockett was such a wonderful book. I laughed, almost cried and felt connected with the characters in the story. I can't wait to see the movie.

Filled with tender romance and terrific suspense, The Lucky One is Nicholas Sparks at his best—an unforgettable story about the surprising paths our lives often take and the power of fate to guide us to true and everlasting love.

The Lucky One, my favorite Nicholas Sparks' novel. Can't wait for the movie to come next year.

April Another NS novel read whilst on holiday infront of blazing fire and wine. Odd plot line, felt a bit empty. Fairly good romance novel though.

The Rescue

Volunteer fireman Taylor McAden feels compelled to take terrifying risks, but there is one leap of faith he cannot take--he is afraid to fall in love.

A Child Called It: I have no idea HOW I made it through this book. It was incredibly rough and could only read it in small doses. This was required reading for my minor in Child & Family Studies and my Abuse Against Women and Children course. IDK if I could've read it of my own free will.

A Child Called It | Dave Pelzer New paperback Book pb

This book never fails to make me cry, make me sick to my stomach and want to kill this poor child's mother. But I think everyone should read it, just to know how horrible child abuse is and that these things really happen to innocent children.

Something Borrowed tells the story of Rachel, a young attorney living and working in Manhattan. Rachel has always been the consummate good girl---until her thirtieth birthday, when her best friend, Darcy, throws her a party. That night, after too many drinks, Rachel ends up in bed with Darcy's fiancé. Loved this book!!!!!

Something Borrowed (book & Something Blue (book - Emily Giffin - finished book 1 (Rachel/Darcy/Dex's Story - enjoyed it).
