    makes 24 mini apple pies. Cut 8 apples in sm bits Mix apples w: 12 tbs of flour 1 1/2c of sugar 4 heaping tsp of cinnamon 1/4-1/2 tsp of nutmeg. 4 tbs chilled butter cut into 24 equal portions, 2 boxes Pillsbury pie crusts (four chilled NOT frozen crusts. Unroll your first pie crust and cut circles using wide mouth mason jar ring Line muffin tin w crust, fill w apple filling, top w butter. Use dough leftovers to make scrappy top crust. Brush w melted butter Bake 400 x 18-22 mins.

bite size apple pies ***Tracy's Note: I'm making these right now. I've revamped the recipe and I'm using refrigerated crescent rolls instead of refrigerated pie crust. ***In a word - DELICIOUS! The crescent dough works well. I used Macintosh apples for my attempt. Also drizzled half of them with maple syrup. Tracy tested - Tracy approved :)

Mini Apple Pies. Cut 8 cups Apples into 1/2 in bits, mix with 12 tbsp flour, 1 1/2 cups sugar, 4 heaping tsp cinnamon, and 1/4-1/2 tsp nutmeg. Cut chiled NOT frozen pie crust, fill pan, place slice of butter ontop. Cover with left over dough, brush w/ melted butter & bake at 400 for 18-22 min.
