The pattern for this quilt is from the book "Quilts with a Spin" by Becky Goldsmith & Linda Jenkins. The pattern in the book is called "Everyday Best". From www.redpepperquil.... www.redpepperquil.... I don't know if I have the skill or patience, but maybe someday....

I particularly like the elongated oval design and how the two smaller feathers work with that...great way to fill up an awkward space!

Tokyo International Quilt Festival 2008. This is a detail of the quilt. The sand was all beaded and the ocean was many layers of sheer with fish on every layer so it looks 3D. Look closely. Amazing!
