I had no idea what this novel was about when I picked it up; all I knew was that it was highly recommended. It took me a few paragraphs to realise from whose perspective the story is told. This was my first introduction to Emma Donoghue's amazing writing. Read this book - and then look for more!

As you come to the last chapter, you will be reluctant to continue reading. You will not want this story to come to an end. Actually; you will feel that way when reading any of Kate Morton's stories.

    Loved reading this!
