GREAT EASTER EGG COLORING IDEA: SHAVING CREAM EGG DYE 1. Spread cheap white shaving cream in a cookie sheet 2. Apply drops of neon food coloring across surface 3. Use toothpicks to swirl colors around 4. Roll the dried, cooled hardboiled eggs in the colorful cream (we used disposable kitchen gloves to reduce the tattoo effect) 5. Allow to set for 3-4 minutes on a paper plate 6. Wipe off shaving cream with paper toweling 7. Rinse! Voila! Beautiful marbleized eggs, done quickly! ~c

Marbled Easter eggs. Add food colors to shaving cream and swirl the colors, roll egg across the pattern, allow to sit for a minute then wipe off the shaving cream.

This is really cool. I'm not sure if it should be considered art or food. I guess both.

Hand Carved & Etched Victorian Lace Easter by theNestatWindyCorner, $43.00

totally could modify this and not use real eggs. and it would look just as stunning without the cut outs. Just use the black puff paint on anything - wood, plastic, whatever, cover with a shabby white or shabby pink and then sand it off here and there for more shab fabs. I am so there I want to get started right now! :D
