Library Facade by Liesbeth den Toom via newyorker: The building is situated in a part of Amsterdam’s Oud-West neighbourhood where many of the streets are named for Dutch authors and poets from the 18th and 19th century. The library, which measures 2.5 x 7.5 m and was unveiled in November 2006, consists of ceramic “books” with titles taken from poems by those authors. #Architecture #Amsterdam Liesbeth_den_Toom #newyorker
