Forgiveness is a decision. We decide to cut off the bitter root and plant a seed of love. We cannot blame ourselves if it does not grow; sometimes the other party has poisoned the soil too much. But we must keep the bitter roots cut and plant more and more seeds of love. Forgiveness begins when we make that choice; long before we see the results.
Once we have called, our next step is to watch. He has never broken a promise and He is promising to show us great and mighty things we do not know. God finds joy not only in our asking but also in our anticipation that follows. Lets not rob Him of them!
Amen!! All because of the "Blood Sacrifice of Jesus Christ, we can now approach the Throne of Grace, and ask God the Father to have mercy on us, when we are in need of help, all in the name of Jesus Christ"........... Hebrews 4:12-16 John 3:16-17, John 14:13-26
..and it's all about grace... so say the earliest Christian writers mystics!! Read them learn about this blessed "aura" of grace we live within..Many holy writers learned these truths from living with Jesus and the apostles..... There are many sources of these writings...
"Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God's unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it]." Hebrews 4:16 (AMP)
Grace and Mercy As we grow to become more like Christ, our behavior grows more distinctive from the world. Believers should be known for their eagerness to do good and help others.Someone who sees grace as permission to sin has missed grace entirely. Photo Source www.etsy.com/... godsgracefulness.com
This is what grace looks like to me. It's the way I get off this ledge. Will it be by boat or with wings from a helicopter or giant bird? Or an earthquake that lowers the ledge? Or from a bridge formed over time as the mountains move closer together. Or an opening behind me...from my past. Grace... only God knows. I know that I am assured of it and I am to wait on Him. --Cheryl Farrell
