Mindset and Grit= Success. This site has lots of research and practical teaching ideas for ways to help students set and obtain goals. I love this idea and must incorporate it in next year's class.

Linking Verbs Anchor Chart ~ This chart would help students learn the tenses of sentences. I would also help them become familiar with different words and you could even use their spelling as verbs to link.

I did that with my 5th Graders as an after STAAR activity, titling it "What's in a Name." We did fraction review, fraction addition and subtraction, fraction to decimal and will be concluding with probability. We are creating a huge end of year math poster to showcase all of the 5th grade math they have mastered to take with them to 6th grade.
