Student chooses a character from a book. Scan the book for adjectives describing the character and record them on paper.Circle 7-10 words to best describe the character. Give three half sheets of light-colored construction paper. On one sheet, illustrate & cut out the character's head & arms. On second sheet, draw and cut out character's feet. Accordion-fold the last sheet 6-9 times to make body. Label each fold with circled word from list.Staple head & feet to the body.
