KRAMER VS KRAMER. Director: Robert Benton. Year: 1979. Cast: Dustin Hoffman, Meryl Streep and Jane Alexander

"American Beauty" (1999). Lester Burnham, a depressed suburban father in a mid-life crisis, decides to turn his hectic life around after developing an infatuation for his daughter's attractive friend. This movie is much darker than I remembered. However, it's also very good. Kevin Spacey and Annette Bening head up the cast.

    One the best old movies!

    Peter Strain - "Fargo"

What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993) In a backwater Iowa town, Gilbert (Johnny Depp) struggles to take care of his mentally disabled brother, Arnie (Leonardo DiCaprio), and provide for the rest of his family. But after falling for the stranded Becky (Juliette Lewis), Gilbert discovers exciting new possibilities for his life. Co-starring Mary Steenburgen, John C. Reilly and Crispin Glover, this tender drama earned DiCaprio an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor.

One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest 1975

Spectacular portrayal of a Stephen King classic!

Don't judge a book by its movie poster ( framed )

Jack Nicholson's best. Morgan Freeman is fantastic as usual. The studio marketed this all wrong when they released it.
