Kid: It's bad enough I'm a ginger and will have to endure many years of sun damage, wearing hats and long sleeves, and being socially outcast for both... but now my damn parents have decided I'd make a great robot dinosaur. Great. Thanks. This is going to go down really well with the cute blonde in the sandpit... This is a very cool example of artwork created using cardboard on a large scale. The creator of these outfits used simple brown box cardboard to design and make five different wearable designs. The first three designs look like every day dresses that someone could wear. For these, the artist used cardboard curling and shape cutting techniques to make small and large details. The last two designs are more costume like and are very detailed.
Love these creative cardboard costumes! Such wonderful material, cheap. easy to work with, flexible ( fold and pull over hard edge until you get the shape you want). This year my son and I used cardboard to create (no plans) a roman soldiers' " lorica segmentata" armor to wear for a school Museum night These costumes are by design students - cardboard catwalk
