Louise Bourgeois - The founder of a branch of modern art known as Confessional Artwork, Louise Bourgeois was herself not validated by the contemporary art world until 1981 despite being heavily involved since the early 1950s.To be a woman artist making "grotesquely feminine" work that is accepted by the art world is a huge feat. She is an incredible artist, woman, and person.

It would be very curious to record by means of photographs, not the stage of the picture, but its metamorphoses | Light Drawings — photographs of Pablo Picasso by Gjon Mili, 1949
Pablo Picasso X Gjon Mili // Light Painting photographs. Thank heavens Picasso lived and worked for almost a century, constantly experimenting with and getting excited by new media and materials. Here, well into his 60's, Picasso is drawing with light. Ephemeral images, captured only by photography.

Pablo Picasso drawings | These Light Drawings by Pablo Picasso always grabbed our attention as ...
Light painter Gjon Mili is one of the pioneers in the use of stoboscopic instruments in order to create outstanding images. He and his unique photoflash techniques are very well known and still very much used in today´s light painting photography. In 1949, Mili sent some examples of his work to Pablo Picasso, who felt immediately inspired and that’s actually how this series Light Drawings was born: Picasso painting with a penlight captured by Mili.
