The Mutter Museum (a museum of medical oddities) The museum is part of The College of Physicians of Philadelphia. In 1858, Dr. Thomas Dent Mutter donated his collection of medical oddities, anatomical and pathological specimens, wax models and antique medical equipment to be used for medical research and education. It is all now on display in the museum. I would love to see this!
The Mutter Museum in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania contains over 20,000 medical oddities from the past 200 years that were originally designed to aid doctors and medical students. The collection contains swallowed items removed from people, the skeleton of conjoined twins, and a huge excised colon.
