    I am going to do this!! Stained Glass Cake Stand. Fill the bottom of a 12" cake pan with CHEAP, plastic, transparent pony beads. Baked them in a 425 degree oven for 30-40 minutes until all the beads had melted. Let the pan cool for 20 minutes, then flip the melted bead 'plate' out Finally, I glued it to a dollar store candle stick and, presto! Cake stand!
