What the breakdown of gender in US entrepreneurship and business looks like.

I recently collaborated with the female founder of Piktochart to create this infographic about Investing in Women.  Piktochart is an infographic editor that helps non-designers make information beautiful. Piktochart was launched in end of March 2012 and now has over 26,000 free users and 1,200 paid users.

Fantastic infographic (I LOVE designers who can do this well!) about investing in women-owned startups, and gender differences in investors.

"Learning Out of Poverty:" education is foundational to human development and has a clear multiplier effect with benefits in health, broad-based economic growth, and poverty reduction.

Apparently this comes from The New Women's Movement. We have an archaeologist friend who is over $60,000 in debt for the cost of his schooling. Medical students fare worse; they can be $200,000 in debt when they finish medical school! Inexpensive tuition is $ 8,000 a year!

Nothing more impressive than a strong successful woman. Not the type that try to do it like a man, but those that use their natural feminine instincts and talents.

That's nearly twice the amount of illiterate men worldwide. UN studies have shown that increasing the literacy rate of women by 1% saves more children than increasing the amount of doctors 1%. This is why I'm a feminist.
