Learning to Write on the iPad Lots of people have been asking about using the iPad as a way of teaching young students to write. I personally would not advocate this as the primary way of teaching youngsters the intricacies of handwriting and letter recognition but as fun supplementary activity it might provide some motivation. Great educational iPad apps grades K-8. Looks like there are some good ones for the gifted learner who just wants to know more and learn in a fun way.

{Must-Have Educational Apps} Do you have an iPhone or iPad? I would argue your iPhone is much like your TV set, you can use it for good or evil. Sure Angry Birds will keep your child entertained, one could even stretch it and say “they are learning about geometry.” Still, there are much better educational apps out there for your iPhone or iPad that will actually make learning FUN.
