The acidic vinegar actually breaks down chemicals from the field and waxes or any storage enhancers that may have been used will rinse away. 2. Spritz well with 3% Hydrogen Peroxide. This step will sanitize the produce. Finally, rinse under cold water.
DIY all-natural produce wash Mix a solution of equal parts vinegar and water. Either pour into a bowl to soak produce or put in a spray bottle to spray directly on produce. Pinner says: First thing, I'm curious if the wrinkle release spray will smell like the vinegar at all or if the fabric softener in it will mask it...?? Secondly, I'm cleaning my oven racks tomorrow based on this & I'm excited to see how well it works. And finally, I'm pretty psyched (the little things) to try the armpit stain remover. Seriously ppl, everyone gets those, even a little bit.
