Sensory Color Sorting Playset Montessori and Waldorf by MamaMayI, $47.00

These number puzzles are great for students to practice ordering numbers and can be used at your centers or as an activity to enhance your small learning group. I like to have these sitting at my small math group table and students get started on these as everyone arrives. They are self corrective so they can be used individually or in the small group. 13 different puzzles are included! $2

Normally I let kids use whatever and pretty much, as much as they'd like of materials, but the goal of this activity is different. You set up a guide board instructing what materials to use and how many of each. You can then see if they can follow the math part. What they choose to make with the materials is up to them.

Snack/language activity for preschool - big and little "trail mix." We used jumbo and mini marshmallows, large and regular Cheez Its, regular and mini Vanilla Wafers, raisins and dried plums, and chocolate chips and Hershey Kisses. We even used a big and little bowl and a big and little spoon for mixing. We talked about the colors, shapes, texture, etc. Great language activity!
