DIY cake stands from thrift plates and glasses. Minus the spray paint. OR just the cup for a Cupcake stand!!

cake stands, I made one of these with cheap dollar store dish and candle stick. It's so nice to give a cake that way too (although they are cute to have at home) since it's just 2-3 dollars at most in it and they have something left when the cake is gone (plus you dont have to worry about keeping up with your expensive cake plates or keepers)

DIY cake stands from thrift plates and glasses. If I don't end up finding all of my antique plates I can always spray paint dollar store plates :)

OK, I knew about spray painting thrift store finds, and I knew about glue-gunning thrifted cups and plates together to make a cake stand... but it took this pin for me to put the two together! Love it!

I made 6 of these for my wedding to serve cookies on! I used plates that were my wedding colors. Turned out great but I had a hard time getting the glue to hold. Glue a bowl, 2 plates and 2 candlestick holders together....dollar store craft. Put dip in bowl! This is awesome and endless, will go great with the plate and candlestick cake plate I made... Hmmm, what else can come of these I wonder.

The cake stand was made from an old chandelier – so clever! Take the wires out and spray paint it, then glue serving plates on with 9001 glue.
