Smoothie Packs - Love this idea! She calculated it out to be less than $1.50 a smoothie and around 200 calories. Add a scoop of protein powder (to beef up the calorie count and add protein) and some milk or juice when you toss in the blender, and it would an amazing meal option!
DIY Smoothie Packets; freeze yogurt ahead of time in ice-cube trays or muffin tins. Add frozen yogurt to ziploc baggies with your favorite fruit; freeze packets until you're ready for a smoothie and then just blend contents of a smoothie packet with water, juice or milk for a yummy smoothie.
all bagged up, pop them in the freezer! Next time you want a smoothie, you're ready to go! Just add a little juice or milk and voila! I may try to add a little oatmeal or wheat grass next time to pump it up even more since I'm treating the smoothies as breakfast.
