Two of our amazing young supporters, Chris Hartley and Miya Poole put together this awesome video for PoP!

A video of the students from the Pa Suk school in Laos. Fully supported and funded by our friends at Mr. Youth agency. Many thanks!!

Meet Impossible One, Sophia Bush. For her 30th birthday, she wanted to raise enough money to build one PoP school. Instead, she raised enough money to build TWO. Now that's an impossible one.

Recently, @UNICEF launched a global conversation around the topic “what is your promise to the children of the world?” People are encouraged to record or upload a video talking about the promise they are making to help better the lives of children worldwide. When we found out, we loved the idea and thought it was very fitting for us (our name is Pencils of Promise after all!), so we wanted to share with @UNICEF and all of you what our interns’ promise to the children of the world is!

Pencils of Promise Partners with Playbutton to Fund Education

Tech that really PoPs is tech that supports PoP! @PLAYBUTTON is a wearable buttons that plays music. In 2012, for every Playbutton that’s purchased, the company will donate one day of education to a child through PoP! More info @ http://tnw.co/MB5Cvn

In one incredible evening, we raised 1.6 million and honored three incredible supporters of PoP: The Taitz Family, Sarah Brown and Usher Raymond IV. “The Night of 100 Schools” was not only a huge step forward for our dream of education for all, but it was also one great party.

We are so lucky to have such strong members of the PoP movement, like Chris Battaglia, who shares his experience on the ground in Laos! http://www.pencilsofpromise.org/blog/from-the-field/laos-thoughts-on-cuisine-cleanliness-and-community-by-chris-battaglia
