Ice Cream in a Bag This is SOOO easy and delicious! In a small Ziplock bag, put: 1/2 C. half and half (milk works too) 1 Tbps. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla Insert that bag into a larger, one gallon Ziplock filled with ice and salt. Shake the bag for five minutes. Kids love that part! Then, remove the smaller bag which should have turned into ice cream.

Ice Cream in a Bag. In a small Ziplock bag, combine: C half and half (milk works too), 1 T sugar, 1 t vanilla. Insert small bag into a gallon Ziplock filled with ice and salt. Shake the bag for five minutes. Remove the smaller bag and you have ice cream!

I cut a sponge to fit the container, and just poured glue in.  Students can just tap their shapes on the top of the sponge for a thin, even coat of glue - no more puddles!  I worried about the sponges getting icky, but I still have the ones that I made well over a year ago, and the sponges are still intact AND the glue isn't stinky :)

Idea for upset kids? Alternative for timeout: Mind Jar. The goal is that when they are feeling out of control, they shake the jar, then sit and watch the glitter settle in the water. When the glitter settles, we finish our meditation/timeout.
