"The Sound of Music." 1965 Academy Award for Best Picture and, at the time, the highest grossing film of all time. Julie Andrews is the former nun who becomes the governess to the Von Trapp children, then marries their father and helps them all escape from the Nazis, who have taken over Austria.

  • Kimberly Williams

My all time favorite movie. Made before my time, however, Julie Andrews is phenomenal.

2012 Movie 6: The Polar Express. I'm the type of person who can watch Christmas movies all year round. I even like it more than Christmas itself. This is one of my favorite Christmas movies. The book is a classic, and this movie does honor to it. The animation and detail is perfect, the soundtrack is incredible, and all the characters are realistic and believable. The only annoying thing about it is the know-it-all-kid.

Just watched Ever After again for the umpteenth time. Still one of my favourites.
