2012 Corner Stone Bordeaux Blend from River Stone Winery. Full of nice red berry fruit, med acidity, not a lot of tannin. The wine didn't have much substance to the body and seemed a bit unbalanced. Okanagan Valley, BC Canada
Mission Hill "Oculus". I bought the 2005 Vintage and had it in late 2011. I kick myself for not having purchased more when I saw it. Bordeaux style (my kind of wine) - definitely needed decanting and it was not consumed in a hurry. Opened right up and it was perfect. Loved it loved it loved it.
Chateau Leoville-Las Cases 2012 'Clos du Marquis', Saint-Julien, France label. This wine was fabulous. Fruit flavours of red luscious berries were in total balance with the tannin, acidity and alcohol. Bordeaux blend of grapes. Love!
Delas Cotes du Ventoux 2003. All the wine experts said to drink it in the next 2 to 3 years after harvest. I just opened mine Dec 10,2012 and it is full of dark fruit flavours and has a mouthful of flavours. Great every day wine.
2005 Legacy Red Wine. Wonderful Bordeaux blend from Alexander Valley in Sonoma County. 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot. Well balanced wine with wonderful red berry flavours. Acidity and Tannins are low to med and is ready to drink!
