Love this recipe also! I SWEAR by Lemi-shine...my dishes never have spots on them, I never will use anything else. You will notice a difference the very first time..even plastic containers are spotless!Dishwasher Detergent ingredients: 1 box Borax 1 box Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda 24 packages of unsweetened lemonade drink mix, like kool-aid. (**Note: lemonade will stain soap dispenser yellow, another option would be to use citric acid instead of lemonade) 3 cups Epsom Salt

According to one pinner: Holy Cow!!! This stuff is AWESOME!!! I only made 1/2 as much (I didn't have as much lemonade as I thought, oops). I will not be buying dishwasher soap ever again!!!! My tupperware looks brand new again!

I might try this since I am trying to save money by not buying diswashing detergent. I hate washing dishes!

This works great, I used the citric acid in my mix because i dont use any artificial ingredients. I found it at Wally Mart by the canning supplies for $2.95. I did add some Organic white vinegar to the rinse dispenser to help with some of the spots.
