Lemon Pound #cake Preheat oven to 175° Spray & flour pan Sift 3 C flour 1 Tbsp baking powder & Using electric mixer cream together 1 C butter ½ C shortening (margarina) both room temp 3 C sugar Add 5 eggs one at a time Add dry ingredients alternately with 1 C milk beginning and ending with flour mixture Beat low speed Mix in 6 Tbsp lemon juice and 1 lemon zest Bake about 55¨Cool in pan 15¨
