neat rewards system...31 quarters in the jar at the beginning of the month, every day that they do not do their chores, they lose a quarter. Whatever is left at the end of the month they exchange for cash and the quarter jar is refilled. We decided not to do "allowance" for chores, but rather teach chores/responsibilities as how they contribute to our family. If they don't contribute, they don't have privileges.

After 15 years of failed allowance systems and chore charts that were way too much work, I found an easy system that works for us.

This woman is genius! A list of daily morning activities/tasks for the kids during summer break to keep their bodies and brains active and their house clean. (I love the different days of the week and what they do in the afternoon, too!)

Stop yelling and start making them responsible. Colorful behavior chart for kids. They are never too old for one of these.

I love this idea! The kids determine their own allowance. The harder they choose to work, the more $ they EARN!
