I don't know why this recipe didn't add cinnamon and nutmeg. Those are the MOST important ones. Add those 2 spices to your taste and mix a 1 1/2tsp with 1/4c sugar and sprinkle on top. Peach Cobbler by Brown Eyed Baker // (09/12) made 1.5 of recipe and used 3 qts of partially defrosted Met Market peaches in a 11x17 pan. Reduced the sugar in filling to 1/3 original amount. I'm sure it was the peaches, but it's the best peach cobbler I've had!
Peach and Cinnamon Cobbler - Spectacularly Southern, this cobbler is easier than pie! You may want to have some vanilla ice cream on hand, particularly if you are serving this warm.
Easy Peach Cobbler 1 cup self-rising flour (see Note for substitution) 3/4 cup granulated sugar (plus 2 additional Tablespoons for topping) 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, divided (and melted separately) 1 (28 ounce) can sliced peaches in heavy syrup, undrained
Peach Crunch Cake 24.5 oz jar of sliced peaches in light syrup 1 package yellow cake mix 1 stick butter (1/2 cup), cut into 16 pieces 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup chopped walnuts Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Layer ingredients in a 13 X 9 dish, in order starting with the peaches. Bake for about 40 minutes. Serve warm or cold… with or without ice cream.
