    Heart Banner String a heart garland on a headboard or mantel. To create the garland, cut similarly sized hearts from decorative paper. Cut another set slightly smaller than the first. Glue eachsmall heart on top of a large heart. With a hole punch, punch a hole on either side of each hearat. Thread string through the holes in the hearts.

This is an adorable addition to any home, classroom or party for the Valentine Day season. This handmade garland was made by hand cutting hearts and several "x" and "o" shapes and then sewing them together to make a 7.5' long felt garland.

Really cute and easy Valentine decoration. You can substitute the hearts for other holiday shapes, too, like pumpkins, Christmas trees, birthday cakes, etc.

Hearts on a String Give your headboard a little love. Dress it up with a strand of sweet streamers. Cut and then sew together layers of scrap fabric or felt. String them together with a pretty ribbon and attach horizontally across your headboard. Try the same concept with handkerchiefs, clothespins, and twine for a vintage feel.
