Because I appreciate the info, I'm sharing: Millbrook, NY: This portion is Halcyon Hall, built in 1893, moved to this location in 1907 as part of the Bennett College for Girls, later Bennett Junior College. The school filed bankruptcy and closed in 1978. It has since fallen into this state, burst pipes adding major water damage, roofs collapsed, trees growing up thru the building! It is now owned by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp, & was scheduled to be demolished in 2012, but is still here!
Watching & Waiting - The creepy Berkyn Bull Manor in Berkshire, Wales. It's interesting that many remnants left out are simple items, such as newspapers and letters, from the early-mid 20th century; making it appear at first glance that the home has been uninhabited for much longer; but the last owner died in 1987. The property has existed since the 1630s, although the manor was rebuilt in 1848.
The Old Casino Hall... The 1st of June in 1874 this hotel opened his doors for the first guest to spend their holidays.... This hotel was equipped with 5 floors, 350 rooms, a casino and a spa where guests could relax... Left abandoned in the woods for over 12yrs now, the decay is slowly taking shape... It looks like the hotel just locked the doors and the people where just gone...
