only need a tablespoon per load NEVER purchase another laundry detergent brand. This has inspired me to make more homemade cleaning products :) very exciting! Laundry soap recipe - for months' worth of soap.

I boiled 2 c water and dissolved the dry ingredients with the Dawn (in a large glass measuring cup  apparently I learned from earlier experience today). When cooled slightly, I poured it into my plastic bottle and added 2 c tap water and shook it. If you used 1/2 c for the original recipe, this would only require 1/8 c and would take up 75% less space on my shelf.

Mom's Super Laundry Sauce    1 br Fels Naptha, 1 cup Borax;   1 c. Washing Soda, 4 c.hot water,   Directions:  4 cups of water in a large heavy saucepan over high heat. While heating, mix borax and washing soda in a bowl, mixing well, set aside. Grate the Fels Naptha, to the water, stirring. Reduce to medium heat, until Fels Naptha is dissolved.
