Late Republican Roman or Celtic helmet of Agen type. This type is originally a Celtic (Gallic) design, but Romans adopted many designs from them, such as the later Imperial Gallic types.

Roman iron cavalry helmet. Forehead band is decorated with oak-leaves (corona civica) and laurel-leaves. Left cheek is missing, right cheek is decorated with a horse and rider.
