"I made this stamp as a gift for a very talented young musician! I will also give him a Stampin' Up! half-sized wood mount stamp box to keep the stamp and ink pad together at all times. TIP: carving letters are more advanced than carving images. Practicing on images first." Alana Jean-Louis
This is my very first hand-carved stamp that I made at Stampin' Up! Convention right after they unveiled the new UNDEFINED STAMP CARVING KIT! I chose to make a flag with the St. George's Cross... which represents England... which we use in a club called Knights of the Northern Realm (14th century living history club - see pics). Now when we hold a family festival I will use the stazon ink pad to stamp the hands of people to show they have paid for their tickets!
"Turn your favourite line-art stamp into a 2-step stamp! Use Stampin' Up!'s UNDEFINED Rubber Stamp Carving Kit to make the solid shape stamp to colour in your factory made stamp! You can also buy sheets of cling mount foam from Stampin' UP! to make it into a clearmount stamp to see exactly where to match up the 2 images! I used stazon ink to stamp the original image right onto the carving rubber so I knew where to carve to match the shape!" Alana Jean-Louis
CAS Imagined - first this is ALL Stampin' Up! only...HONEST! I LOVE dragonflies but since Stampin' Up! doesn't have any dragonfly images, I used the NEW UNDEFINED to CARVE MY OWN!!! I made this card for the CAS challenge on SCS today! I was really surprised at just how easy it was to carve. The image was inspired by a dragonfly necklace I found while looking for inspiration. Yes...this is my FIRST carved piece!
